All personal data contained in this website are collected as a result of the implementation of the COMMUNICARE Project, in accordance with the European Commission regulations. The COMMUNICARE website supports privacy protection as a fundamental part of its activity and is committed to maintaining the highest possible standards of data integrity and security. The COMMUNICARE website is bound by the Greek Law (especially L. 2121/1993, L. 4481/2017), as well as by the European Law protecting privacy, especially the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council. This policy describes how the COMMUNICARE website collects, uses, holds and discloses personal information. Our Privacy Policy applies only to our website, so if you click on a link to another website, you are subject to their own Privacy Policy.

Collection of Personal Information
The COMMUNICARE website limits collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary, in accordance with the principle of data minimization.
The COMMUNICARE website collects automatically information about you and your interactions when you visit our website, or you provide feedback on any of our message boards. That personal identification information may include your name, email address and phone number.
By filling in the contact form with your data, you authorize this application to use these details to reply to requests for information, quotes or any other kind of request as indicated by the form’s header.
The COMMUNICARE website uses cookies, as well as your IP address and browser – device information available via Google and other analytic tools to count visitors to the website and understand how they access and use it. These cookies do not identify visitors and are used only to improve the site’s effectiveness and relevance. Use of Personal Information
The COMMUNICARE website holds and uses personal information only for the purposes directly related to COMMUNICARE’s activities, especially for the maintenance of the quality of learning material evaluation and for the compliance with its legal obligations as determined by the Greek and European Law.
If you do not provide us with your personal information, we may not be able to provide our services, communicate with you, or respond to your inquiries.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Storage of Personal Information
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If you have an account on this website, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. For it to be accepted, the request message must be accompanied by proof of identity. Personal data processed are not stored longer than necessary to fulfil the obligations defined by the COMMUNICARE Project. Beyond this period, the data will be anonymized and stored solely for statistical purposes and will not be used in any other way whatsoever.
More generally, data purging procedures are implemented to plan their effective deletion as soon as the storage or archiving duration necessary to fulfilling the predetermined or required purposes is reached.
External websites
Articles on this website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). The COMMUNICARE website uses Social Plugins of different social networks like Twitter/LinkedIn/YouTube/Google+, which are marked by their logos. When you open a site with these plugins, browser data are transferred to the owners of those social networks. Thus, they are informed that you have opened the respective site. If the user is logged in to one or several of these social networks, these data can be linked to his/her account. The IP address may be logged without being a member of a social network or logging into a network.

By logging out of networks before surfing or using privacy protecting software, you can limit the amount of data transferred.

The COMMUNICARE website employs efficient security procedures to protect information from misuse, interference or loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.
Personal data shall be subject to additional safeguards to ensure this data is processed securely. For example, we work hard to ensure data is encrypted when in transit and storage, and access to this data will be strictly limited to a minimum number of individuals and subject to confidentiality commitments.
We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to any of our websites; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access. When possible, encryption is used, both in transit and storage. Access controls within the organization limit who may access information.
The website operator undertakes to implement all appropriate technical and organisational measures using physical and logistical security resources to guarantee an adequate security level to meet risks of accidental unauthorized or illegal access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction of the personal data collected. However, the website operator cannot guarantee that all risks of data misuse are eliminated.
