Description 

Barriers to good communication and how to overcome these are illustrated using the example of hearing loss and hearing impairment as well as intercultural communication, by using different languages as an example.

Being aware and have knowledge about the different needs for good communication due to physical impairments or other barriers. 

Learners can build trustworthiness and strong relationships and are able to demonstrate effective listening and communication skills.
